MISSIONS AND THE LIGHTHOUSE CHURCH

               
The Lighthouse Church would like to be a launching pad to sending out and
supporting individuals who have been called by God in order that they may
successfully serve the Lord in missionary ventures both in this country and abroad.

The Lighthouse Church is a part of a Denomination called The Christian and Missionary Alliance.
Because "Missionary" is actually our middle name, outreach plays a hugh role in the vision and
ministries of wo we are as the Body of Christ.

The Christian and Missionary Alliance was born more than one hundred years ago. It's first mission field
overseas was the Belgium Congo. Since then, the C&MA's influence has been felt in eight-two nations on
five continents. Disciple making and church planting are core parts of the of the C&MA people of various
backgrounds and skills as they join hands and heart to priortize reaching the unreached people.

In order that all believers who attend the Lighthouse may experience the heartbeat of God for the world,
we long to provide regular opportunities for all ages to participate in missions. Mission moments,
conferences, updates and hands-on involvement are part of life at The Lighthouse Church.

One powerful way for an individual to have his or her heart impacted forever is for them to take part
in a short-term mission venture at some point of thier walk. The Lighthouse Church desires to make that a
reality for everyone who is called by God and is willing to go.

While we will prayfully be open to short term mission opportunities all over the world- because we long to have
a consistent and ongoing relationship with the work of God in the world, The Lighthouse Church has chosen
to committ to a partneship with the following works:

1. Our C&MA church work happening in the neighborhood of San Marcos, in Puerto Plata of the Dominican Republic...

2. Our C&MA Missionaries Donnie and Blythe Mason who are working to reach people for Christ in St. Petersburg, Russia.

We also believe that God has given us a responsibility to also assist evangelism opportunities happening
in our own backyard and therefore we have committed to financially partner with the following works:

 

3. The Atlantic City Rescue Mission

4. Cape Christian Academy

5. The Hope Pregnancy Center

Financial gifts can be designated to any of the above approved mission works
by just writing the name of the specific work on your offering enevelope..
Undesignated monies will go directly into the General Missions Fund that
supports all of the above ministries.
