Rev. Jon Whipple

Pastor Jon grew up near New Haven, CT, and moved to the Boston area to
attend college. There he found Christ, a call to ministry, and a wife.
Ann grew up in Lancaster County, PA, moving to Boston to be near her
sister. They met at work and were married in 1992. Hannah and Jay were
born while Jon was working through Gordon-Conwell Seminary. In 2000,
Jon and Ann were called to serve on staff at Greenfield Alliance Church
in western Massachusetts. Six years of positive ministry with children
and youth encouraged them to discuss focusing on children's ministry at
The Lighthouse. God confirmed the decision, and the Whipples arrived in
March 2006. They look forward to many years of growing friendships and
growing ministry.
