Walking with others as we walk with God--Life is better together!

We believe that life is better when it's lived together. Home Groups are a vital part of who we are as a church, providing a place where authentic relationships can grow and faith can deepen.

These groups meet once a week in homes throughout our community to discuss and apply the previous weekend's sermon. Together, we ask questions, share insights, encourage one another, and discover how God's Word shapes our everyday lives.

Home Groups reflect the example of the early church, where believers gathered regularly in one another's homes to pray, learn, break bread, and support each other (Acts 2:42–47). Home Groups create space to be known, cared for, and challenged as we walk with Christ together.

Home Groups are an opportunity to build meaningful friendships, experience genuine community, and take the next step in your spiritual growth. We believe these groups are one of the most valuable ways to connect with the body of Christ and become part of the life of our church.

You weren't meant to do life alone. Join a Home Group and discover the joy of growing together in Christ.

Habakkuk: Learning to Live by Faith

A Women’s Bible Study by Lydia Brownback

Why does God allow injustice? Why does He sometimes seem silent when we pray?

The prophet Habakkuk wrestled with these same questions. Instead of turning away from God, he brought his doubts, fears, and frustrations directly to Him. In response, God revealed not only His plans, but His unchanging character—a truth that transformed Habakkuk’s fear into confident faith.

In this engaging study by Lydia Brownback, we’ll walk verse by verse through the book of Habakkuk, discovering how to trust God even when life doesn’t make sense. Through conversational teaching, rich historical context, cross-references throughout Scripture, and practical application, we’ll see how God’s faithfulness remains constant in every season.

Whether you’re walking through uncertainty, waiting on unanswered prayers, or simply longing to deepen your faith, this study will encourage you to rest in God’s promises and learn what it truly means to live by faith rather than by sight.

Proverbs

How do we make wise decisions? How do we respond with grace? What does it look like to honor God in our relationships, our words, our work, and our everyday choices?

The book of Proverbs offers timeless wisdom for every season of life and anything that you are going through.

Throughout this study, Carol Baals will walk with you through the book of Proverbs, exploring its practical application for daily living while helping understand the heart of God’s wisdom. Together you'll learn how to cultivate godly character, strengthen your faith, and apply biblical truth to every area of your life.

Whether you’re new to studying the Bible or have walked with the Lord for many years, this study will encourage you to grow in wisdom, deepen your relationship with Christ, and confidently follow the path He has prepared for you. All you need for this study is your Bible!

Who this group is for:
This group is for anyone whose life has been affected by fear, anxiety, depression, lack of self-worth, low self-esteem, substance use, emotional problems, violence, compulsive behaviors, or other harmful effects of living in a broken world. 

How Life Recovery can help:
Through the use of Biblical principles, the purpose of this group is to allow God to transform broken lives, heal damaged emotions, and mend shattered relationships to restore mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual health -- mapping out a journey of wholeness and proper dependence on God while creating a community of fellowship and love.

What To Expect
GriefShare is a support group that meets weekly. You'll find it to be a warm, caring environment and will come to see your group as an "oasis" on your long journey through grief. There are 3 key parts to your GriefShare experience:

• Video Seminar
  Encouraging, information-packed videos featuring leading grief recovery experts. 
• Support Group
  Small group discussion about the weekly video content
• Workbook
  Journaling and personal study exercises that reinforce the weekly session topics

THRIVE is a faith-based program designed to meet kids where they are in their grief and walk with them down a road of hope and healing. THRIVE offers engaging activities and discussions that provide children and teens grieving the death of a loved one with opportunities to express their grief through creative and positive interactions with their peers. Currently, THRIVE meets quarterly, complemented by an annual THRIVE Camp in August.
